do you know how many stages are there in the life cycle of the silk moth. there are total five stages in the life cycle of the silk moth. the first stage of this life cycle is the female silk moth lays eggs on the mulberry leaves at approximately 300 eggs at a time. the second stages the eggs are turned into silkworms or larvages which feed on the mulberry leaves day by day. the third stages there ready to form a cocon is like a thread like structure which protects them from high winds and helps them everyday. after 15 to 30 days turns into a pupa. and the final stages it becomes a adult silk moth which lays eggs on the mulberry leaves and the process continuousday by day.
