Learning Braille isn’t a given for many students who are blind – but the National Federation of the Blind is bringing Braille to students in 30 states through a summer program called the NFB BELL Academy. At NFB BELL Academy, students learn Braille and other nonvisual skills with the help of volunteers, many of whom are also blind.
